Performing Arts Club Newsletter - November4, 2023

Once again, I am going to start off saying, "Just a few things..."  Let's see how that goes!

First up, Monday's meeting.  I am happy that so many of you are coming to share a meal with fellow PAC members. For those of you who decided that you do not want to partake in the dinner, please come anyway to hear the latest in what is going on in the club and vote for the 2024 Leadership Team.  There might even be some surprises. Remember, the meeting is Monday, November 6 at 5:00 in the Delaware Room.

Have you bought your tickets yet for "Return to Associationville?"  For $15, you can follow the adventures of Sasha and Hugh Oldfart as they visit the 55+ Community of Associationville in search for their perfect home.  What a bunch of characters they meet!  You will recognize all the music, but certainly not with these lyrics!  Come support your fellow PAC members!  Get tickets online or in the Activities office.  Show dates are November 17 at 6:30, November 18 and 19 at 2:00.

As usual, The Performing Arts Club is always looking forward.  Susan Girard would like you to have some information about our Spring Show, "Broadway Treasures," that she has written and will be directing.  Auditions are going to be held on December 5th and 6th, (as well as December 7th, if needed) at 5:30 in the Penn Room. You can contact Paula Phelps at rphelpsciyc@aol.com. to schedule an audition time slot. If you are interested in dancing in the show, contact Susan at susan5005@hotmail.com ASAP.  Susan will be giving further details at Monday's meeting.

Once again, I am a bit late with the birthday list for the month.  But, here it is: Phyll Perry, Emmy Pfannes, Ronnie Savino, Joan Schaumburg, Jim Perlick, Ann Brandt, Gloria Guaraldi, Patsy Kart, Niki Nolles, Christy Conway, Victoria Schaefer, Rick Collinge, Jessica Reedy, Bill Henggeler, Waldo Hayden, James Chow, Bob Bush.  That's a lot of November birthdays!  Enjoy your special day!

I think that's it for now.  Thank you for reading!

As always, contact me with any questions or issues at wadler21@gmail.com
