Performing Arts Club Newsletter - May 4, 2024

Hi Everyone!  I think I just have a few things, but let's see as I go along!

I do want to thank the PAC members who organized our table, as well as all of those who volunteered at today's Club Fair. You all were valuable in promoting what we do! Several new members signed up.  Our Choraliers' Director, Ira King, even regaled us with some impromptu songs.  It was also fun to see members who stopped by just to say hello.

Speaking of the Choraliers, I am certainly looking forward to their upcoming show, "Get Happy" on May 23 at 7:00 in the Delaware Room.  Don't miss this fun show.   It will only cost you $10 for an evening of fun.  There will even be a cash bar!

Attention Karaoke participants! Because of the upcoming summer and  resulting travel, the group will be on hiatus until September 13.  Mark your calendars for their return in the fall.

Readers' Playhouse is planning for their upcoming performance on October 9.  Anyone who is interested in getting involved in this show should attend the May 16 meeting at 5:30 in the Liberty Center.  It is being directed by Pam Pace and she has many fun ideas for this show! If you have questions, contact Phil at pschlaeger@msn.com.

Later this month come to the first of this summer's "Concerts on the Lawn." You will have the opportunity to enjoy the Last Ride Band. Representing the Performing Art's Club's Musicians' Guild, all of Sun City Anthem will get to dance, sing along with, or just sit back and listen to, some great Rock and Roll.  Don't miss it on May 31 at 8:00, on the North Lawn behind the Anthem Center.

I think that is all people have asked me to include in this newsletter.  Please remember to let me know if there is anything you would like included in the next.

Thank you!

Willis
