I hope everyone is enjoying our emerging Spring weather. This is the weather for which we came to Vegas. Pretty soon we will all be complaining about the heat. But enough about the weather, we have PAC events coming up.
Get your tickets now for Broadway Treasures, coming up April 12, at 7:00 and April 13 and 14 at 3:00. Come see what your PAC friends have spent months perfecting! Tickets can be purchased online or at the Activities Office.
A reminder from Vince, your Karaoke SIG Leader: The Karaoke group will be meeting on Tuesday, March 12 from 1-3 in the Delaware Room. All interested are welcome to join in as singers or audience members. You DO NOT need to be a member of the Performing Arts Club to attend Karaoke, so invite some friends to join you. If you would like to sing, you can select a song from our playlist found at pac.scaclub.org. Click on Karaoke. Send your selection to Vince at vintzinvegas2019@gmail.com by Sunday, March 10, or you can give Vince your selection when you sign it. He looks forward to seeing you there!!!
Speaking of Karaoke, I am encouraging our PAC singers to sign up for our joint AAHC/PAC Karaoke Competition. This two-day event is scheduled for June 5 and June 19. It promises to be a fun experience, even including Vegas celebrities as judges. I hope you all saw the picture of our very own Anthem Jazz dancers in the Review Journal after their performance at the Aging Wellness event at SouthPoint. Congratulations to all of you!
Join the Desert Divas for FREE Hula lessons on Wednesdays 9-10:45 and Fridays 1:30-3:00, as well as select Mondays from 1:30-3:00 at the Liberty Center.
Not only can you learn to Hula as a PAC member, but you can also take FREE Anthem Jazz classes on Mondays at 3:15 and Saturdays at 3:00 at the Liberty Center.
The Third Thursday of the month is quickly approaching. Check out Readers' Playhouse on Thursday, March 21 at at 5:30 at Liberty Center. Come prepared for fun and laughter!
