Greetings! We have a lot of PAC events coming up. I will try to list them chronologically.
Tomorrow, from 1:30-3:00, the Desert Divas will be offering another Hula class. It will be at Liberty Center. I don't think I'm getting any more proficient, but I do have fun. Come check it out!
This will be your last reminder for the introductory meeting of our newest SIG, "Storytelling." Please contact Suzi Dubin at susandubin48@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to attend the meeting on Sunday, May 21.
Coming up quickly are the Information Session and Auditions for "Return to Association-ville." Please read Norene's message carefully:
"No sooner did we finish the fabulous "If These Walls..." than we began working on our next show. "Return to Association-ville" will be performed on Friday, November 17 at 6:30, Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 and Sunday, November 19 at 2:00 in Freedom Hall. Long-time residents may remember the original edition of Association-ville in 2008 and the sequel in 2014. Now we present the "threequel," again written and directed by our very own George Gingerelli.
We're hoping you are excited to learn about this delightful production. There will be an Information Meeting in the Delaware Room in the Anthem Center on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00pm. A sample act will be performed and the audition process and rehearsal dates will be discussed. Even if you don't plan to audition, please come to the meeting to find out about other ways you can help, such as backstage or tech support.
In preparation for the Information Session, please go to pac.scaclub.org to see role descriptions, hear the show music and download the script.
Please come to the Delaware Room on May 30 at 6:00 to have some fun and hear all about "Return to Association-ville!" If you are unable to attend, please contact Norene Collins at norwalco@cox.net or 702-335-1088."
While you are marking your calendar, don't forget about the last PAC General Meeting till November. On Monday, June 12 at 5:00 in the Delaware Room, you will have the opportunity to enjoy dinner and hear about the latest goings-on in the PAC. It is during this meeting that the 2024 shows will be announced! If we are lucky, "The Last Ride" will again perform for us! Don't miss this fun and informative meeting.
Summer will soon be upon us. What better way to escape the heat than to groove with the Choraliers at their upcoming show, "Rockin' America?" They will be singing the songs you remember from the 60s through the 90s. Show dates are Friday, July 7 at 7:00 and Saturday, July 8 at 2:00. Tickets are currently on sale on our website, pac.scaclub.org or in the Anthem Center Activities office. Come dance in the aisles, or sit tapping your feet, while supporting your Performing Arts friends!
