Another short Newsletter (I hope)! It is packed with important information, so please read carefully!
First, I must recognize and congratulate the author, Vince McCann, Director, Phil Mastrelli, and the entire cast and crew of "If These Walls..." I think the Performing Arts Club continues to outdo itself in quality and originality. Performing to essentially sold-out audiences, I have heard nothing but praise from the attendees. We should all be very proud!
Now on to our next production: "Return to Association-ville." This musical satire, written and directed by George Gingerelli, will be performed on the Freedom Hall stage on November 17, 18 and 19. With more than 30 parts to be cast, ranging from non-speaking and non-singing roles to featured character performers and leads, there will be something for everyone. Those of you who participated in, or saw, the previous incarnations of "Association-ville" know how much fun it is! The Information Meeting is scheduled for May 30 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Delaware Room. Auditions will be held on June 13 and 14 from 5-9 in the Penn Room. Additional information and a synopsis of the play can be found on the PAC website, pac.scaclub.org.
We are in the midst of rolling out our new SIG, "Storytelling." For those who are interested or just curious, their first meeting will be on Sunday, May 21 at 7:00, at the home of Suzi Dubin. The address is 2160 Twin Falls Drive. If you plan to attend, please contact Suzi at susandubin48@gmail.com.
The Choraliers are perfecting their next production. "Rockin' thru the Years" will be performed in the Delaware Room on Friday, July 7 at 7:00 and Saturday, July 8 at 2:00. Tickets will soon be on sale on our website, pac.scaclub.org or the Anthem Center Activities office. Don't miss this opportunity to hear your favorite songs from the past, while supporting your fellow PAC members.
I think I have covered the essentials for now. If you would like any information about your SIG to be in a future newsletter, please email me at wadler21@gmail.com.
