Performing Arts Club Newsletter - August 3, 2024

Good morning!

It's another short newsletter.

Hopefully all Club members are aware that our January show, Charlie Sees the Light, is in rehearsals.  Director, Ziona Friedlander, seems pleased with our progress.

Readers' Playhouse members are also rehearsing for the October 9th show, Hold the Onions. If you like to laugh and eat pizza, this will be a show for you.

Storytellers will be meeting this Wednesday, August7, at 6:30 in the Greene Room. This group has steadily been gaining members. August's topic is, "A Memorable Trip."  Come listen to what I can assure you will be some interesting stories.

Anthem Jazz dancers are inviting all PAC members to join them on Saturday, August 24 from 3:00-5-00 in the Liberty Center for a "Dance Fuzion" technique class.  Guest Choreographer, Susan Girard, will instruct participants in the techniques behind various     genres of dance including jazz, ballet and modern.  Beginners are welcome - No experience is necessary. Dress in comfortable clothes that allow you to stretch.  Jazz shoes, modern sandals, or ballet shoes are recommended.  If you are interested in taking this class, please email Susan at susan5005@hotmail.com by August 15 to reserve a spot and allow Susan to email you with any further information.

That's all of the updates I have right now.  Please let me know if you have any questions or would like anything to be included in my next newsletter.
