Good afternoon! I know many of our members are putting the finishing touches on our upcoming show, Broadway Treasures. Hopefully the rest of us are purchasing tickets for Friday, April 12, Saturday, April 13 or Sunday, April 14. Come support your PAC friends!
I do have a bit of unfortunate news. After months of planning, we have discovered that an Association event is scheduled on the same days as our joint AAHC/PAC Karaoke Competition. This would so adversely affect attendance at our event, that we have made the difficult decision to postpone it for a later time to be determined. I do want to thank all of the PAC members who were part of the planning and those who were going to be participants on show days. Both clubs look forward to working together again.
Before I continue with upcoming news, I want to give a shout-out to the Last Ride Band, who performed at the Hiking Club St. Patrick's Day luncheon. Everyone there had a great time dancing, singing along or just tapping their feet! Thank you to our terrific musicians!
The Desert Divas will be concentrating on their hula skills. They want everyone to know that some of their practice sessions are on new days and times. Starting April 1, they will be meeting on Mondays from 1:30-3:00, starting March 22, they will meet on Fridays from 1:30-3:00 and beginning March 24, they will meet Sundays from 12:30-3:00. They would love to have new participants. All sessions will be at the Liberty Center. If you have any questions, please contact Diana at dianamchang@msn.com.
As part of this change, Pam Pace's Acting Class will also be changing its date and time. Beginning April 3, the group will meet on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30 in Liberty Center. Come check out the class and have some fun while improving your acting skills. If you have questions, Pam will be happy to hear from you at pampace21@gmail.com.
And, I also have a message from Vince. He wants you to know that the Karaoke schedule will be fluctuating over the next few months and will be meeting as follows: Tuesday, April 23; Friday, May 10; Monday, June 3; Tuesday, July 9; Tuesday, August 13; Friday, September 13; Tuesday, October 8; Tuesday, November 12; Friday, December 6. All meetings will continue to be in the Delaware Room at 1:00. Please mark your Calendars now so you don't miss the fun.
